The Lifeline CarePartner Telephone with Reminders advances product design to the next level to help elders improve their quality of life. Fully maintaining all the benefits associated with Personal Response, this product delivers a critical added advantage of personal reminders. Family and professional caregivers now have a means to help elders living at home maintain health and well-being schedules.

The CarePartner Telephone with Reminders offers all the benefits of the Lifeline Personal Emergency Response Service (PERS), plus useful reminders that help subscribers manage their medications and other aspects of their care plans such as diet, exercise and appointments.

Family and professional caregivers or responders can record up to six (6) personalized reminder messages assisted by simple voice prompts even from a remote location.

Subscribers benefit from a special elder-friendly telephone that facilitates connection and increases communications so they feel safer. Design includes audible dialing and large keypad for elders with poor vision. Adjustable speaker volume ensures audibility for elders with hearing loss.

Compatible Handset
Handset can be used by subscribers with telephone-compatible hearing aids expanding the appeal of the service among elders using a hearing aid.
RSVP™ Remote
Call Answering
Subscribers can use the speakerphone to answer incoming telephone calls just by pressing their Personal Help Button, thereby reducing the risk of falls resulting from rushing to grab the handset.

Reminder Messages Record up to 6 reminders. Each message can be up to 20 seconds long.
Reminder Frequency Reminders can be set to play once daily,weekly or only once.
VoiceClock™ Announces the day, time, and optionally the date, at a press of a button.
One Touch Voice Prompt

Reminders can be recorded by a caregiver either locally or remotely when the subscriber presses the Set-up button.

Personal Emergency Response Services

TelAssure™ Reminds subscribers to check in with the Lifeline Call Center once a month to ensure service response when help is needed.
Cancel Reset (centrally
monitored feature only)
Lifeline Call Center can reset the unit so it is ready to receive another signal.
Inactivity Timer Selectable 12 or 24 hour periods. This optional feature notifies the Call Center if the subscriber has not reset within the selected time period.
24-hour Power Failure
Protection
A rechargeable battery back—up for up to 24 hours during a power failure offers added protection. Special battery saving circuit prevents the battery from completely discharging.
Multiple Subscriber Support The CarePartner Telephone can be set up for up to eight Personal Help Button codes—giving added protection to the spouse or caregiver who also wants the security of Lifeline.
Personal Help Button Each CarePartner Telephone with Reminders comes with a light-weight, waterproof, attractive Classic Pendant™ or Slimline™ Personal Help Button. The Slimline offers the option of necklace or wrist wear.Optional smoke detector and pull cord transmitter available.

Self-Test and Installation

Self-Test Mode / AutoLearn® Allows installers to easily auto-learn Personal Help Buttons, test the telephone functions and the button range.
Continuous Telephone
Line and Power Testing
The telephone line and AC power are continuously monitored. The battery is tested daily when operating on AC power and is continuously tested when operating on battery power.
Low Battery Warning The unit will automatically alert the Lifeline Call Center when the unit’s back-up battery is low.
Phone Line Compatible Standard modular phone jack, cord for RJ31x or CA38A line seizure jacks optional. Tone or rotary/pulse dial is automatically selected.
Answering Machine Port/Computer Modem An auxiliary modular jack is available for easy answering machine installation. The 9500 automatically disconnects auxiliary jack during help call.
VoiceAssist™ Voice prompts guide subscribers and caregivers in a friendly, reassuring manner. Also aids installers with installation testing and troubleshooting.
Status Indicator Indicates power and phone line status and flashes if a secondary extension phone is off the hook.
